About
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING AND BACKGROUND
Brian Dooreck, MD
Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
I am a board-certified gastroenterologist and hepatologist in active clinical practice, licensed in nine states.
After seventeen years of education and training, I joined a private practice as a partner in 2005 and have been seeing patients ever since.
I completed my undergraduate degree at Stony Brook University and my post-baccalaureate at the Harvard School of Public Health before earning my medical degree at the Gray School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University.
My Internal Medicine Residency and Chief Residency were at Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai Morningside in New York, a Columbia University teaching hospital. I trained in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and the Center for Liver Diseases.
Clinical Practice
I joined Gastrointestinal Diagnostic Centers and the Memorial Healthcare System in 2005. Over nineteen years in practice, the work that mattered most was often not the procedure. It was serving patients and their families—helping them understand what they were facing and ensuring the right physician was involved at the right time. I left the partnership to build that into something structural.
I remain in active clinical practice and am licensed in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
Executive Health Navigation
I am the Founder and President of Executive Health Navigation, a physician-founded Healthcare Governance firm serving ultra-high-net-worth families and the advisory firms that serve them.
Healthcare Governance is the authority to direct healthcare decisions for a household — established before a crisis and exercised during one.
I am a Faculty Member in the Health and Well-Being Domain at The UHNW Institute and Chief Healthcare Advisor at Galliott Capital Advisors.
